I grew up in the small town of Pinehurst, North Carolina. It is a lovely little town, but Asheville caught my eye when visiting a friend years ago. I loved the mountains, the music, and the community. In 2021 the planets aligned, and my family were given the opportunity to make a move to this area so we jumped on it. Being a family with a military background, it was the first location we were able to choose ourselves, instead of the military choosing for us. We haven’t looked back since!

We have a tight knit family. My husband is an adventurer and full of life, and our daughter is 8 years old and as feisty as ever. She loves to dance, create, and ask us thousands of questions a day. We enjoy listening to live music, traveling, and hiking together. We also have two very energetic dogs that keep us on our toes!

My favorite part about working for SoulKu is how supportive the company is. I'm currently in nursing school and SoulKu has been so kind to work with me with my hectic schedule. They have allowed me to have a flexible job that I can do in between school assignments, dance classes, and all of the running around that I do on a daily basis. They are truly a supportive group of women and want all of the mamas to succeed.

When I’m not making jewelry or running around with my crazy schedule, there is a high chance that you can find me baking in the kitchen! It is one of my favorite past times and something that was passed down to me from my mom and grandma. Most importantly, it is something I can do with my daughter, and no matter how picky of an eater she may be, she never turns down a yummy dessert!

My favorite SoulKu piece to make is the Little Wishes Collection. My daughter loves her Little Wishes necklace and always shows it off to her friends. She is living proof that the necklaces are dainty, yet durable, and can be worn for months on end.
