I grew up in Sarasota, FL where I attended Ringling College of Art and Design and received a degree in Illustration.
I have a 16 year old son, and we've been in Asheville for 15 years. What we love about the area is the food, music, and art scene.
When I'm not making art or SoulKu jewelry, I enjoy cooking, hiking, and kayaking in the mountains with my son.
Citrine Seed necklaces are one of my favorites to make. The pale to deep golden yellows make me think of sunshine and honey. They are like little bits of light energy, and I can feel them brighten my mood.
Working for SoulKu is a wonderful gift that allows me the freedom to focus on my paintings when I need to.
I paint with acrylics on wood panels with a process that allows the beautiful wood grain to be a part of the creation. My art is inspired by nature, trees, birds, bears, and bees, and they are often my subject matters. Pet portraits and large commissions also keep me busy.
