Crow Animal Medicine

Every month we will pull an Animal Medicine card specifically for the audience of SoulKu. Each animal exhibits certain habits, has an essence, or portrays a personality trait that can be relayed into messages about how to live life.

The monthly card will help guide, amplify, and define the energetics of your month. If you are reading this blog, this medicine is for you. Tune into the Animal Medicine to help you move through whatever is presented to you.

Crow medicine is an extremely powerful, serious, sacred medicine.

Perfect as we head into Fall—a season of change and the upcoming sacred pause of Winter—Crow medicine has a shared meaning that spans across cultures and continents, medicine people and shaman alike.

Sacred Crows are seen as not part of the earthly world but a full time resident of the Spirit realm. They are the protectors of all sacred texts, our shared ancient records of Akasha and the laws of Spirit.

What, you may ask, does this have to do with me and September?!

Well let me tell you my friend—

Crow medicine is an omen of change.

It means it is time to pause and reflect on how you see the laws and habits of Spirit in relation to the laws and habits of humanity. Crow medicine acts as a bridge between the two and asks you to open your heart and mind to a higher order of right and wrong than what is indicated by human laws.

Human law is not the same as Sacred law.

Intuitively we know right from wrong. We know when love is at work and when it is not.

With the help of Crow medicine, you will speak in a powerful voice when addressing issues that for you seem out of harmony, out of balance, or unjust. Crow medicine offers you an invitation to risk being a lone voice in the wilderness of human culture and stand tall in your own personal convictions and truths. (Remarkably, you will find that as you stand in your truth you will not be alone for long.)

Crow medicine is about allowing your own personal integrity, that is based in spirit, to be your guide. It's examining everything you were told, read, or simply believe and ensuring it sits right with your soul. And, Crow medicine encourages your personal will to emerge so you can powerfully stand in your truth.

Walk your walk says Crow medicine. Right the wrongs.
