I was born and raised in Asheville—I've been here all my life. The majority of my childhood was either spent on a softball or basketball court.
I have a son who is 11 years old and step daughter that is 17. I think Asheville is the most perfect place to raise a family. When not making jewelry you can find me outdoors hiking, and spending time with my family. We love to travel. My son plays soccer, so when not at the soccer fields we are usually out in the woods soaking up some fresh air or riding our bikes.
I have worked in healthcare for the last 10 years. In addition to working at SoulKu, I’m the office manager at WNC Medical Wellness, an addiction/recovery and behavioral health center.
I love working for SoulKu because it allows me to work from home and set my own hours, especially since I work another job. But most importantly, it allow to be a mom first and work at my own pace.
I love to make bracelets because it's very therapeutic and relaxing to string the the beads. My favorite bracelet to make is the Opaline Super Mom Be Your Own Hero bracelet.
