“A garden requires patient labor and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them.”
-Liberty Hyde Baily
Right now, as the season changes, as the kids get out of school, as you prepare for vacations and summer camps and the days grow a bit longer we’d like to ask you to take a moment and ask yourself: Are you living the life of your dreams? Are you happier? More fulfilled? Did you make any major shifts since New Years? Do you want to?
If you answered yes to that last question, the next question the has to be: what are you planting in your intention garden this summer? And how do you plan to nurture it and cultivate it and grow it to fruition by the Fall?
That’s right. We said it. BY THE FALL.
Do you know how quickly things can change if you put your mind (& soul) to it? Do you know how quickly the universe will respond to your INTENTION if you truly commit to it? By the FALL. A few short months. So what are you waiting for?
Here is your intention garden plan. Follow it, step by step and you will be well on your way to manifesting your desires.
1. Know what you want and state it as a present fact.
Don’t write, “I want to make a bunch of extra money this summer so I can go on a trip to Italy.” Write “I am so grateful for all the extra cash I made this summer and am so excited to spend some of it on my trip to Italy!”
2. Keep a routine journal of your intention actions.
It’s important to do this every single night before you go to bed and it doesn’t take that long. Just write what you were grateful for that day. Then write out your intention (you can tweak it a bit each night to better fit your need but the basic premiss should stay the same), then write something you did that day to move yourself towards that intention. Lastly, write one action item you will do the next day to move you even closer to manifestation.
3. You must create a vision board.
This board shows your future. Cut or print out pictures of everything you can think of that matches up with the intention you set. Pictures of the plane you will fly on, the villa you’ll rent, the cash you will use to buy yourself a new pair of Italian shoes. Put this board someplace where you can see it everyday. Add new pictures when you come across them. Add words that move you like “This Is Yours” or “You Got This!”
4. Gather some friends or family and create a dialog and ceremony around intention.
Ask friends to come over and share their intentions over dinner or coffee. Create ways to release your intentions to the universe. You can write them on paper lanterns and release them or write them on fancy paper and frame them or proclaim them out loud to each other and have a group response like “Yes! This is your truth!” or “Yes! We support you!” Expressing intentions publicly may seem odd but it helps you with accountability and helps up the vibration of the intention by adding other’s energy to it.
5. Have a daily reminder like a necklace or a ring or even a string around your finger.
We are always looking for ways to help women be and feel more empowered. Our Intention necklaces were created to serve as a daily reminder of your manifestation goal. Every time you see yourself in the mirror the necklace should remind you of your power to move mountains with your thoughts. And each specific gemstone was chosen to make manifesting for specific things even easier-as the gemstones help to amplify the vibrations of certain desires-from love to healing to courage. In addition-you can register your intention on our website and receive weekly emails chocked full of tips, insights and inspiration. It’s your very own email cheering squad! So…now you just have to figure out what to plant. If you want your intentions to become your real life you need to talk and write and be (to the best of your ability) as if your intentions already are your real life. Then you need to take real world action to make sure you are nurturing, cultivating and growing the life of your dreams.
