Grab your seat belt & helmet. I'm not going to ease you into this one. Daylight is burning and you have work to do my dear friend.
(Spoiler Alert) Change and transformation come in the form of discomfort.
Plain and simple, you will not grow in your easy chair. You will not manifest from the drive thru. It takes a brave soul to say, "This is not the way I want to live my life, and I'm going to take steps to change it."
It takes an even braver soul to risk it all and really do something about it.
Reverend Michael Beckwith frequently says, "Pain Pushes, until Vision Pulls."
Let's talk about the Pain.
There is no spiritual bypass for this sort of discomfort. In fact, this sort of discomfort is a sign that you are being called. It's actually exciting! The divine soul that has taken up residence in your human body is looking to fulfill its mission. These pains cannot and should not be ignored. They are an invitation to become everything you were meant to be. And there is GLORY on the other side.
When I see someone whose life suddenly, unexpectedly takes a nosedive, I know unequivocally an absolute miracle is afoot.
I know without a doubt if they choose to jump head first into the abyss of change, of not knowing, of anger, of despair, of rage, of grief they will come out the other side with grace and wisdom. They will come out EXPANDED by their experience, and in turn, they will be the masters of their own destiny.
If on the other hand, they sit with the feeling, let it burn off slowly, dampen it down with distractions, allow it to take up residence, find ways to be comfortable in the discomfort–nothing will change. The knock at the door will go unanswered.
Living a quiet life of desperation is a real thing. That's what denying the divine in you looks like.
I have been in the darkness. I have taken up residence there because I didn't know my own strength–my own divine birthright. It wasn't until I literally lost everything that I found my light. I don't regret a second of any of it–AND I can only imagine what I could have accomplished had I answer the door the first time, or the second, or the tenth. It's not worth the wait. Trust me.
The new year is almost upon us. What, may I ask are you waiting for? Be brave. Be bold. Answer the door. Walk through the fire and KNOW you are loved, supported, and held by the Universe. The Universe is asking for your expansion. It is the Universe who is beckoning you to step into your power. The time is now.
Happy New Year.
