The Full Beaver Moon (and lunar eclipse) | November 19, 2021

Full moons carry incredible energy and can create changes in your emotions, your body, your mind, and your spirit.

By tracking the full moons and their meanings we hope to inspire, enlighten, and inform you of the energetic shifts that are on their way to you.

On November 19th, there will be a Full Moon, known as The Beaver Moon because it's when beavers are particularly active, and historically Native Americans and colonists would set traps to catch them for pelts and meat before the rivers froze.

Like all Full Moons, November's will give you a chance to examine and find balance between moon and sun energetics... and this one has an even greater surprise in store!

November's full moon is in Taurus and the sun is in Scorpio.

This particular axis (Taurus & Scorpio) is one that is going to come up again and again. Additionally, November's Full Moon also happens to host a lunar eclipse. This lunar eclipse will be the first of SEVEN eclipses between the Scorpio and Taurus axis between now and 2023. So you'll have lots of opportunities to master this dance!

The Taurus moon has to do with the desire for everything to be settled—food on the table, a secure place to live and work, money in the bank. These are the things we always want. Things that make us feel content in the moment. It's our desires fulfilled, our access to comfort and security secured. It's about achieving goals, peace, and harmony as we live our lives.

The Scorpio sun is about emotional closeness, intimacy, sexuality, transformation, and the psychological motivations that create human behavior. It's about life and death, crisis, and the ugly truth. It's all about the undercurrents of life that must be dealt with in order to find peace.

So here's the deal... November's Full Moon (followed by 6 more opportunities to dig really deep) is inviting you to explore your relationship with creating a sense of home, security, peace, a base from which to work, play and live, the so called picket fence situation in juxtaposition to how the sausage is actually made.

Is it possible, is it realistic, to secure all those things without having the other things—the radical emotions, the risk, the knowledge of the frailness of life and the awareness of death? Are brutal life lessons something that need to occur before you can truly feel safe and secure? Are you building a house of cards on the sand? Are you truly authentic in your life or have you been putting up a facade that makes you look like you have it all when you feel empty inside?

Accomplishment is wonderful. Security is so desirable. Yet, as humans the road is bound to be twisted, and our motivations aren't always ours. This is a beautiful time to be curious about your life. To ask yourself, "Am I happy with what I have? Am I fulfilled by my existence? And/Or...Am I in too much chaos? Are my emotions, or lack thereof, creating dissatisfaction or unnecessary complexities."

Either way, the Moon is telling you to find your way, accept what is, feel the gratitude for what you have, nurture yourself in the process, fight for what you believe in, live an authentic life.

Because these questions will come up again and again in the coming years because of the eclipses on this axis you'll want crystal support.

SoulKu selections for supporting you through The Full Beaver Moon (and lunar eclipse) and beyond.
